Super Duper Hero

Super Duper Hero

I started by die cutting a circle from the front of a large square card.  The background was put together from a piece of dark blue card, the stars are done with silver glitter embossing paste and a star stencil.  I left that to dry while I worked on the other elements of the card.

The city skyline was made using the Avery Elle Super stamp set and the co-ordinating dies.  The clouds were stamped with versa mark on parchment paper and then heat embossed with a white embossing powder.

Super boy and Super kitty are from the Mama Elephant Tiny Heroes stamp set and coloured with copic markers.  Then they were cut out with the co-ordinating dies.  The sentiment was stamped onto white card, die cut and then layered on the same blue card that was used for the night sky.

Once the embossing paste was dry the blue card was stuck onto the inside of the card.  Then the clouds and the skyline were stuck onto the blue card, I kept closing the front of the card to make sure that everything was lined up with the circular hole.  The skyscrapers hide the glue that was used to stick down the parchment clouds.

The boy and kitty were stuck on to the outside of the card along with the sentiment and finally the explosions were added to the scene and the outside of the card.
