Herd You Had A Birthday

Herd You Had A Birthday

This little scene was made using the Green Pastures and The Whole Herd stamp and die sets from My Favorite Things.  The girl was taken from the Green pastures set while the cow, chicken and sentiment come from The Whole Herd set.  Each of the images was coloured with Copic markers I really love colouring this cow, it’s so cute.  Originally I had wanted to include more of the animals but there just wasn’t space for them all.  The frame is made using dies from the Simon Says Stamp stitched rectangle set.  They have the stitching detail on the inside and outside of the cutting line so it’s simple to put together a frame with stitching on both its inner and outer edge.

The background was made with Lawn Fawn papers and the Lawn Fawn stitched hillside die.  One of the cows and my farmer was then stuck onto the background.  The frame was stuck on with foam tape to raise it up a little and the second cow was stuck onto the frame but overlapping the farmer.

The sentiment is from the Whole Herd set and I simply stamped it onto card and then cut it out adding a little v detail to one end.  The sentiment was added to the background with foam pads to raise it to the same height as the frame.  It looked a little empty on the right so I added a chicken also using foam pads to stand it on top of the sentiment.
